Up and Away Hot Air Balloon Festival in Washington
Each year we host about 30 hot air balloon pilots over the Martin Luther King Jr weekend here in southern Utah. And we always hope for great weather so they can take off each day!
The Hot Air Balloons launch Friday and Saturday mornings from Staheli Family Farm, 3400 S Washington Fields Rd in Washington
Friday morning begins with our first launch, then tethered rides! That afternoon starts our one-of-a-kind vendor and craft fair, with local entertainment and our Rising Star Talent Competition, and finishing the evening with our Balloon Glow when the sun goes down!
Saturday morning begins with our second launch, then more tethered rides! After tethered rides will be our annual car show and day two of vendor and craft fair, with local entertainment and our day 2 of our Rising Star Talent Competition and finishing the evening with our Balloon Glow when the sun goes down!
Tethered Balloon Rides will be available on Jan 16 and 17th, 2026 from 8am – 10am each morning. Tickets are available for children 3 and older as well as adults. Please bring your QR code ticket with you on either a printed paper or on your phone to check in. GET THERE EARLY AS A LINE WILL FORM!
