Winterlude Moab Music Festival
February 21 - February 27
The 10th annual Winterlude festival by the Moab Music Festival is taking place from February 21 – 27, 2026. This week-long event focuses on community engagement and education, featuring free workshops, outreach programs, and a ticketed finale concert.
2026 Schedule of Events
The festival includes public workshops and intimate performances across various Moab venues.
- Musical Story Hour (Feb 21, 10:30 AM): Led by artistic director Tessa Lark at the Grand County Public Library, featuring live music and crafts for young children.
- Moab Community Dance Band Workshop & Contra Dance (Feb 21): A workshop for instrumentalists (1:00–3:00 PM) followed by a public contra dance (7:30–10:00 PM) at the Moab Arts and Recreation Center.
- Jazz Improv for Beginners (Feb 22, 7:00 PM): Led by Pascal Le Boeuf and Nick Photinos at Historic Star Hall.
- Youth Advanced Strings Workshops (Feb 23–27): Daily coaching for advanced local string students at Historic Star Hall.
- Community Drum Circle (Feb 25, 7:00 PM): An informal rhythm exploration led by Christian Euman at Historic Star Hall.
- Sips & Sounds (Feb 26, 7:00 PM): A free mini-concert and conversation with the Akropolis Reed Quintet at Rooted Vine.
- Winterlude Finale Concert (Feb 27, 7:00 PM): The culminating performance at Historic Star Hall featuring Pascal Le Boeuf’s “Ritual Being” and the Akropolis Reed Quintet.

Tickets & Registration
Most community events and workshops are free, though many require advance registration.
- Finale Concert Tickets: $25 for adults and $10 for students (ages 6-18).
- Workshop Registration: Open now through the Moab Music Festival Winterlude Calendar. The deadline to register for some workshops is February 20, 2026.
